Architectural Steel Cladding Profile

TRS Weatherboard Architectural Steel Cladding

TRS Weatherboard

TRS Weather Board architectural steel cladding, a low-maintenance alternative to timber weatherboard.

TRS Weatherboard is an ideal, low-maintenance alternative to timber weatherboards. With the appeal of classic panelling and the simplicity of installation, our metal weatherboard system is both cost-effective and attractive. It provides a timeless finish for both new and existing buildings.

This system is part of the rain-screen sector, which includes wall cladding installed with a pressure-equalised, ventilated air space. To ensure proper functionality, it requires a vapour barrier or waterproof membrane behind the supporting framework.

Application

Weatherboard Step Panels are ideal for use on both new and existing buildings. They are installed in the same manner as traditional weatherboard planks. These panels closely resemble the appearance of Bevel Back Weatherboard wood panelling, offering a classic and timeless look.

Areas of application could include:

  • Facade
  • Chimney Cladding
  • Interior feature walls

Panel Details

Only suitable for wall cladding;
Variable pan A from 115 to 200 mm;
Maximum panel length – 6.0 m for pre-painted steel; 4.0 m for any other material;
Minimum panel length – 500 mm (0.5 m).

Only can be manufactured in the following materials:

  • Copper
  • Stainless Steel
  • Titanium Zinc
  • Aluminum

Dimensions

The panel depth is fixed at 25 millimetres. The maximum panel length will vary depending on the material selected. Thermal expansion and contraction are critical factors that determine the appropriate length.

For Copper, Zinc, Aluminium, or Stainless Steel, we recommend a maximum length of 4.0 m. For any pre-painted steel, we suggest a maximum length of 6.0 m.
